working.

I've been working so much during my break.
I haven't even started on my homework.

hair colouring.

I've been trying to get my mom to dye her hair for a while now.
She's starting to crack.
We're going to shoppers drug mart tomorrow.
to pick out a colour.
hope it goes well!

Christmas time

This year, I didn't get very many gifts.
A thermos, a pair of slippers, an old navy gift card,
a scarf my mom knit me.
and 25 dollars from my grandmother.
And to some people, that doesn't seem like much.
But to me, it means a lot.
I know that our family doesn't have a lot of money.
You can kinda expect it.
I mean, if your mom works at tim hortons, you wouldn't think that you would be getting a car for christmas would you?
This year I didn't ask for much.
I got what I asked for.
But I also got more than I asked for.
I got time to spend with my family.
It's not every weekend that we get to sit down and play a game of monopoly.
The time together was the best part of this Christmas.
Now, I'm pretty sure my parents aren't going to read this,
But, that's okay.
They know I love them.
That's the best gift of all.

Monopoly.

I played monopoly with my family last night.
For once I won.
But even more than that, my dad went out first!
Normally, it's him who wins and I lose.
My mom was in the middle like usual.
It was fun. I want to play again some time.

My american eagle hat.

I found it.
it was under some of my stuff in my room.
I wore it to church yesterday.
it kept my head nice and warm.
woo.

I think I've lost it.
It was a beautiful purple.
That kinda matched my converse.
I don't know where it is.
I have to go look more.

Summative

I have one due on friday.
It's for parenting.
I haven't finished.
It's taking me forever to do it.
I stayed home from school today to work on it.
I got a lot finished.
I still have to do the 'research paper' type thing.
And the newspaper article.
Any suggestions, on what I can do for my 'research paper' type thing,
would be helpful.

Batteries.

Are always hard to find when you need them.
I think it's like that with most items.
or lip balm. I can never find it when I need it.
I am continuing my search for batteries.

Snow days.

My school doesn't get snowdays. It's kinda sad.
It's because we have no buses.
Our principal says that we are a community because we all can walk to school.
We have freezing rain days.
The school board think's it's safer for us to walk in snow, than it is in freezing rain.
So when Waterloo Oxford has there snow days, because all of their students are bused, us forest heighters are walking.
Freezing our butts off.
Ah, the joys of being a community.

Old Navy

IS pretty much my favorite store. I got another sweater from there.
As well as a 'house coat' and two shirts.
I want to go again on saturday.
Hopefully I get up early enough to go before work.
I dislike work. I need a new job.

My american eagle hat

Is purple. A nice shade of purple too.
And it matches my purple converse, slightly.
And I'm listening to the hairspray soundtrack that I got from the library.
It's not that bad. I have to return some cds that i took out before, that are due back today. oops.
And I'm going shopping at Old Navy. See what they have there.

My glasses

I forgot them today. It wasn't that bad, there weren't many notes.
Also as a bonus, I don't have to write my science quiz until tomorrow.
I also didn't come home for lunch, so I didn't eat.
I went to the library, and read a book about interesting things.
such as getting a boyfriend, and kissing, and how to dump someone.
I skipped over the kissing part. That's never going to happen.
And by never, I mean until I find the right one.
I came home after school and ate cottage cheese.
It was good.
